Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026. These terms govern the use of YZY Logistics Limited's removal and logistics services. By submitting a booking you agree to these terms.

1. Quotes and estimates

Online quotes and price estimates are calculated based on the route distance, load size and number of helpers you select. They represent a fixed price for the described job under normal conditions.

Quotes are valid for 7 days from the date of issue. Prices may vary if the job details change materially (for example, additional items, a different access point or a longer route).

2. Booking confirmation

A booking is not confirmed until a member of our team has spoken with you by phone and verbally confirmed the move date, time and agreed price. Online submission of a booking form is an enquiry, not a confirmed booking.

We aim to call within 30 minutes of receiving an online booking request. If we cannot reach you, we will try again and send a follow-up by email where provided.

3. Payment

No payment is required at the time of booking. Payment is collected in full by the driver on the day of the move, once the job is complete, unless otherwise agreed in writing before the move date.

We accept bank transfer and cash. Card payments are not currently accepted.

4. Customer responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring:

  • Items are ready for collection at the agreed time
  • Access to the pickup and delivery locations is available and clear
  • You have disclosed all relevant access restrictions (narrow roads, parking bays, gated entries)
  • Any fragile or high-value items are identified to the crew before loading
  • The stated inventory is accurate — undeclared items may affect the price

5. Access, stairs and heavy items

An additional charge of £10 per floor applies for collections or deliveries that require stairs where lift access is unavailable.

Items over 100kg, requiring specialist equipment, or presenting unusual access challenges may require a revised quote. Please disclose these at the time of booking so we can send the right crew.

If access on the day significantly differs from what was described at booking, YZY Logistics reserves the right to revise the agreed price or, in extreme cases, decline to complete the job.

6. Cancellations and rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule a confirmed booking at no charge provided you give at least 24 hours' notice before the agreed start time.

Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee of up to £50 to cover preparation and scheduling costs.

Same-day bookings marked as “Urgent” cannot be cancelled once the crew has been dispatched.

7. Liability and insurance

YZY Logistics carries goods-in-transit insurance covering items up to a total value of £10,000 per booking. Claims for damaged or lost items must be raised on the day of the move and confirmed in writing within 48 hours.

We are not liable for damage to items that were not properly packed or disclosed as fragile, nor for pre-existing damage.

For items of value above £10,000 we recommend arranging separate specialist coverage prior to your move.
