Furniture collection is for people who need one or several bulky items picked up and delivered. The most common scenario is buying something from Facebook Marketplace or Gumtree — you've agreed a price with the seller, but you can't fit a sofa in your car. We collect from the seller's address, load it into the van with blanket wrapping, and deliver to your home. The same service covers retail collections (IKEA, DFS, Currys), items coming out of self-storage, and moves between addresses where you're only taking specific pieces rather than an entire household.

Measure doorways and staircases before buying large furniture. A 3-seater sofa that doesn't fit through the front door is a common problem — we can usually navigate it, but tight access adds time.
If the seller is a private person, confirm they'll be home and the item is ready to go. Waiting at a seller's address costs time.
For marketplace buys, we can collect and deliver on the same trip. Share both addresses when booking.
Disassembled items (bed frames, flat-pack desks) are faster to load. If you can take it apart before we arrive, it helps.

Yes — this is one of the most common jobs we handle. Give us the seller's address and your delivery address, and we'll collect and deliver in one trip. We can work around the seller's availability if you let us know their preferred time window.
What's the difference between this and man and van?
Furniture collection is specifically for picking up and delivering individual items — a sofa, a fridge, a bed. Man and van is better suited for moving a room of mixed belongings (boxes, bags, smaller furniture). If you're collecting 1–4 specific bulky items, furniture collection is the right service.
Can you handle very heavy or awkward items?
Yes. We regularly move American fridge-freezers, cast-iron radiators, piano keyboards, L-shaped sofas, and super-king bed frames. The crew arrives with a helper specifically for heavy and awkward loads.

Is same-day furniture collection available?
Yes, for Birmingham and Midlands routes when schedule allows. Book before midday and mark the job as Urgent at checkout.
